Just punch Caldas D Rainha city center and then follow driving instructions on booking slip. We arrived at 1700hrs. Parked our car directly in front of the hostel no cost for the night. The hotel is centrally located. The hotel is old, facilities are basic but served our purpose for 1 night. No air con but OK, television discovery channel, no cost wifi, breakfast included but we left early without breakfast. We enjoyed a lovely dinner at the modern shopping mall 3 mins walk from the hotel.

Good location: near to the city centre, services (hospital, shops, restaurants), nice garden just in front, close to several crucial touristic sites (Foz do Arelho, Alcobaca, Obidos, Nazare, Peniche) and to the motorway. The night porter is extremely collaborative and masters a extremely good English! On the other side: difficult parking, shabby aspect, poor supply of water in the bathroom.

The hotel was really cheap, 17 euro a person a night for a two bed room. But the room was not extremely nice. It was just a hotel that offered only the basics a bed and a shower. The light above the sink in our room was broken and they did not fix it, furthermore you had to hold the shower above your head yourself. The beds were also not really comfortable but sufficient enough.

Very easy to find. Staff very helpful. Great location for short drive to coast, where para-surfing is popular, with a huge lagoon behind the surf for safe family swimming.
