It's a gorgeous sixteenth century house with lots of character, close to all of the points of interest of Evora. The staff were extremely warm and friendly and helpful, and even gave me guidance on my Portuguese. It's also really cheap.

This is a beautiful spot to stay, lots of character and chilled out. Our room was great, beautiful view and had a sink which was a bonus. The staff were very accommodating, in case you need extra pillows or towels they will happily oblige. Bath rooms were really clean, as was the whole place. Breakfast served in a charming room, and there's also a terrace. Would definitely recommend Policarpo, such very good value and in a fantastic location. Massive market place nearby juast outside the city walls, as nicely as the main square is a 5 minute walk. Evora is a magical place, and this is a brilliant spot from which to encounter it.

The staff were an excellent help with everything. Location is very good, inside the city walls, everything is pretty close.

The room was what you would expect for the price, but the warm and friendly staff, the remarkable shower, secure free parking, along with the location went far and beyond what one would expect from such a inexpensive stay. All of the staff we experienced were super willing to help us out, spoke excellent English and were extremely friendly. Would certainly stay again!
