The staff is extremely kind and helpful, the room was wide and had a little balcony with table and chairs. Breakfast was wonderful!

Cozy place, near to everything, still quiet. The service is totally great, individuals are always ready to help and offer a cup of cofee, a glas of wine or a pieace of cake. . I just had a excellent time.

Superb value for money, paid far more for far less in other places. Breakfast was fine, decent location near to 2 very good pubs and on tourist bus routes. Nice, clean, safe, owner friendly and helpful. Recommend this place to anyone of any age. Was extremely very good for the money.

It&'s more like a hotel than a hostel! More reasonably priced than a dormitory it delivers you - at least in low-season (november) - comfy room with bathroom and all facilities (hair dryer, ecc. ). There&'s also nice breakfast included and small pool within the garden fool of flowers and trees. Nice sea view from the restaurant where the breakfast was served. Location is great - in lively zone of Funchal, full of hotels, shops, ecc. , nicely connected to the historic centre.
