We had superb service. The room was really clean. Basic facilities, no frills and near to the centre. Family Horta were helpful and arranged airport collection and a trip for us. Substantial amounts of bread and toast at breakfast! It was good value for money.

I liked extremely much the warm and friendly staff along with the fact that the hostel was really near to the city center. The manager let us use his private garage and he was extremely kind and gave us all the info we asked.

Lovely spot right bang in the middle of the old town. Fantastic manager, Joao makes you feel at home and helps you with anything you want or need to know.

Small warm and friendly familyhostel. Good breakfast, extremely exceptional help with everything, buses, levadas and all we ask about. We have a extremely nice room with balcony and view to the mountain. Couldn&t have a better spot to stay in Funchal, close to everything. Litet trevligt familjehotell. Bra frukost, mycket bra hj&alp med allting, bussar, levador och allt vi fr&agade om. Vi hade ett mycket trevligt rum med balkong och utsikt mot bergen. Kunde inte bo p&a b&attre st&alle i Funchal, n&ara till allting.
