Particularly warm welcome by owners: hugs, kisses, basket full of fresh fruits every single morning - you really feel like visiting your relatives! Very clean and spacious room and bathroom. Nice pool outside. Quiet surroundings.

It is a noiseless and gorgeous villa with a exceptional swimming pool. I loved to be able to have breakfast on the balcony overlooking the pool. It is a excellent home for a romantic holidays. The owners are very welcoming and make you really feel home. Best for people that want to get from the condominium and want to really feel component of the local life.

We loved our stay at Villa Minerva. Maria, the owner, greeted us as welcoming as the portuguese can and our rooms were superbly decorated. Room included a kettle, a fridge and some cups and cutlery to get your own breakfast/lunch conveniently out of the nearby supermarket. Poolside was lovely and our rooms were located right close to the area so we could appreciate from their lovely garden while having lunch on our terrace. Our room also had a basket full of fresh fruit out of the garden waiting for us. Beaches and town were straightforward to get to, either by bus or by walking (about a half an hour walk. ).

The owner of this villa is really friendly and helpful towards backpackers! He really made us feel as though we are component of his household and we really feel like we are at home. He even allowed me to use his private computer to print some documents out even though I offered to pay for the documents. As his villa was really a distance away from the city centre, he offered to drive us to the bus station when we checked out inside the morning. I really love my stay there! And I would come back to Lago just to stay in his villa.
