I liked the homely feeling once you entered the entrance. It was like a neighbourhood garden. The receiption place is also welcoming, with light music played. The staff is indeed friendly and resourceful, they know the area well and gave a lot of tips for travelling locally. :) Keep it up! Breakfast was good and hand towels are changed daily. | |

Alfama Patio hostel was wonderful!! Everyone was so friendly and it was really nice hanging out with the other travelers. The space is clean and well decorated. They have different events going on most days of the week for really good prices. I really hope we can come back to Lisbon and if so we will definitely stay here. It's one of the best hostel prices I found in the city. | |

Best ever. You want to come back there all the time. Amazing good full of care and interesting staff, but they have a good oponent in Oporto hostel in Porto - thanks God they are in different cities. Cheers Guys! | |

Very friendly and helpful owner and staffs. In my opinion, facilities were a little bit small perhaps due to the good location (really the heart of town). However this hostel reminded me that the great services can in fact cover this and lead to the high costumer satisfaction! Tour to Sintra offered by the hostel was also nice! Highly recommended for those people who want to stay for longer period. | |

Fantastic location- on the 28 tram line, and in heart of the lovely area of alfama. The hostel is lovely, with a rooftop terrace that overlooks the river and rooftops of Alfama, AND an internal courtyard garden. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Lots of activies, many of which are free, set up to help visitors experience all Lisbon has to offer. Light and airy rooms. Good facilities. Only slight negative was because of it's great location it is also close to a beautiful old church, whose bells chime every hour and half hour throughout the night! :) | |

Great hostel to stay for a longer period, meet people and relax. There is a garden and terrace with a view over the city. The staff organizes lots of activities, such as a bbq, film night, music and Portugese diners. It feels like home, even in such a big city as Lisboa. Breakfast, showers and toilets are all good. You can use Internet for free. Some of the rooms are spatious and nice. The one I was in was very small, which made it difficult to put your stuff and backpack somewhere. The staff is very helpfull. | |
