Cheap and inside the centre of the party location of Lisbon.

All as described. Do not expect too much. It is value for money and centraly located. It is in the middle of night life so do not expect early sleep. But lot of fun around. It is quite clean and also the smell individuals are complaining about is from owners dog. In case you like dogs you won't mind the smell. Very good place.

Very nice old lady, really hostel like feeling, for the money this is a great stay! I even asked to stay two extra nights no problem! Very quaint place!

Nice location in barrio alto, near to bars and restaurants. Huge and cozy bed and massive wardrobe. Room was spacious and nice.

Barrio Alto is THE spot to stay in case you wish to do the night life. It is all literally at the door step of this place. It is not a hostel so do not expect all that pseudo crap. You are on your own. Learn some Portuguese or use some common sense communication skills with the nice staff. Any other clubs and bars or sightseeing can be gotten to with a low-cost taxi cab or a bit of walking. This is a noisy spot in case you wish to sleep ahead of 2 or 3 am. Lisbon by night is a down to earth dream come true. Great restaurants near here and my favourite was the Thai Sukhothai.

Very clean, quiet during the day, right in the middle of Bairro Alto which is perfect if you're planning on going out (don't come here for a quiet evening! ). The bed was comfortable.
