There is a large kitchen for use. You can also wash your clothes, watch tv and use a computer. The owner is kind and helpful. She extended our stay without problems. Atmosphere is very peaceful and easy-going.

Low price, free Internet connection, RELATIVELY close to the center (20 min for a exceptional walker to Praca do Comercio, 40 min on a slow pace). There is lots of public transport to choose, walking from the hostel, though, since Marques Pombal is one of the biggest junctions inside the city.

Very very good position, friendly employees and very near to nice restaurant and bar, there are two restaurant actually in Rua de Santa Marta (coming out of the hostel on the right) were you can find very very good food (we had breakfast and dinner inside the same place. Lol)
