The best thing about the hostel is that the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They are very knowledgable about Lisbon and want their guests to enjoy their stay and to discover the city. The staff always made time for a chat and are very welcoming. In terms of facilities, the kitchen is great and there are lots of sitting rooms to choose from, which is a good way to relax and to meet other guests. The hostel is in a great location, really easy to get to all the sites, to the nightlife and is in a great location to get to Cais do Sodre station to get to the coast. It is also near a metro stop too that takes you directly to Santa Apolonia station if you are arriving or leaving by the train. I changed my plans so that I could return to stay in the Old Town Hostel again as it was so friendly and I decided I needed more tiime to explore Lisbon. I would like to go back and stay at the Old Town again and would definitely recommend it to others. | |

I liked this hostel so much I went back for more. The staff are unbelievably helpful and the place has awesome character. Breakfast is great and they just leave it out all day so realistically you could just live off Cereal and/or bread your whole stay. Awesome hostel! | |

An excellent hostel to stay in Lisbon! In the middle of the Barrio Alto (5 min away from most of the bars and nightclubs), great staff really friendly, helpful and proffessional, the breakfast is served until 12!!!Thanks Joao, Filippa, Rita and Jose, one of the best week-ends ever! | |

The hostel is great for several reasons: location at the Barrio Alto where all the nightlife is located, staff is amazingly friendly, the rooms are quite big and clean, the things to do/places to see recommendations by the staff were awsome. In general a 10! | |
