Pao de Acucar Hostel

Pao de Acucar is 100 yards from the Alidos Metro stop inside the city centre, which is 30 mins from the airport, and walking distance to everywhere you will need to pay a visit to on your pay a visit to to the wonderful city of Porto. When we arrived at the hotel Dave was so welcoming and was helpful every single day during our stay. The hotel is charming with special old-fashioned furniture throughout and a lovely staircase inside the middle, which gives it a cool, retro feel. Our room was massive with Parquet flooring, air cooling and attractive furniture pieces. Breakfast was basic and adequate. It was a bit noisy outside on Saturday night but only enough to stir me from sleep momentarily. We loved this hotel and will stay their again when we return to Porto.

This is a basic 3 star hotel which is fine to stay at in case you are not looking to meet individuals and just need a outstanding centrally situated place to stay.

A localiza&c&ao &e excelente, o quarto era limpo e confort&avel (apenas o banheiro era pequeno). Os funcion&arios s&ao atenciosos e prestativos. E o caf&e da manh&a &e excepcional. Eu recomendo esse hotel para quem est&a buscando algo simples, mas agrad&avel e com bom pre&co.

Price quality is excellent, you get a nice, warm, clean room (but small), a good breakfast, walking distance (1 min) to Oporto's historical centre, and nice english speaking staff. Don't rely on the photos because the rooms you're getting aren't that nice, but really, what did you expect for such a bargain
