The place is nice. Near to Douro&'s mouth. You could reach Matousinho&'s beach in 20 min. max along with the Old City too. If you like to walk, I suggest to try to reach the Old City by foot. It takes about 1hour, but the walk by the Douro is really nice.

I liked the free breakfast. Grocery store is right down the street and there is certainly a full kitchen. The cooking area is missing some random things, like knives.

Good youth hostel. The location isn't in the city centre but is a nice walk along the bank and only a few minutes by taxi or bus. Its nice that you can walk around to the beaches on the other side of Porto easily. Is only really an albergue so little character but good value for money with good security.

Hostel employees was really cooperative. I had a hugh probelm - discovered that I had mixed up my flight dates and had to get from Porto to Lisbon with 8 hours and it was already 11. 30 pm (almost midnight) I was in real hurry and employees helped me to uncover some late night bus/train times + called a taxi. so thanks to them + some locals I didnt lost my flight. Yay! =)))
