The hostel (or rather a affordable hotel) was very nice and clean, employees warm and friendly and helpful (pointing out places on a map, booking tours etc) and also the location is just a short walk from the city center.

Staff was very efficient in keeping our rooms clean and beds made. very warm and friendly receptionist who marked out the attractions on the map for us. employees even opened/closed the lift door (lift in hotel had a metal grill and a wooden door) for us. employees was always smiling and very helpful. and the free wireless (which only worked inside the lobby).

Good location, not exactly in Ribeira (old city center), but walking distance to it, and all the interesting places in Porto. And I felt safe there. Nice room, in a good state and fine size, clean (they clean it every day). Air conditioner (importante during spring/summer) Very kind and helpful staff (but I speak portuguese, it's easier). Good price for what you get. No luxury, but very decent place.

This spot was very clean as the room was cleaned daily. The staff were very nice and spoke some english. The spot was in brief very near to monuments, churches, cathedrals castles etc and also to the river Duro. It is also in effortless riding distance or a decent walk to the beach town of Foz. The hostel was in the middle of several low-cost places to eat, drink and shop. The metro, busses and trains were all in effortless access from the hostel.
