This is a small hostel with lots of charm. The staff are especially friendly and also the little cooking area is a fantastic location to meet people, there wasnt a night that i stayed there that i didn&'t have fantastic company. The location isn&'t all bad as it allows for a matrushka ride through the suburbs, time to appreciate the true irkutsk.

We thought the employees along with the customers were extremely pleasant and they helped us to organise our 2-day excursion to nearby Olkhon Island. The higiene was outstanding and, as far as safety is concerned, we felt totally confident about leaving our baggage in the hostel whilst exploring Irkutsk. The only problem is that the indications to reach the hostel were unclear and we got lost as a result of that. Luckily, though, the property owner came and looked for us in the street!
