The best part about the Irkutsk Hostel is that you can get your very own private apartment for not that much more than staying inside the dorm room (helps in case you are with a partner to split the cost). We had our own small kitchen area, dining table, tv, dresser, bathroom and double bed - also a great view of Irkutsk.

We booked a double room which was a lot more like an apartment, with fridge, cooking facilities and our own table and sofa. It has a great location, there is a market place place at the end of the street and a bank behind it.

L'etablissement est situe en centre ville a 2 pas du cirque, facile a trouver, spacieux et confortable avec une douche de derniere generation. Le staff est tres sympa et toujours pret a aider. Les documents et autres objets d'importance peuvent etre confies a la reception.

Great location, very near the bus station and very easy to find. The staff are extremely helpful and the kitchen area is very useful- they provided all the washing powder i needed for the machine, and couldn't have been more eager to help. I cannot praise the staff highly enough! I stayed in the female only dorm, which was fine, except right next to the communal area and so could get noisy at night. If you prefer somewhere quieter, pick one of the flats or the other dorms.

Great location, really near the bus station and really effortless to find. The employees are very useful along with the kitchen area is really useful- they provided all the washing powder i needed for the machine, and couldn&'t have been far more eager to help. I can not praise the employees extremely enough! I stayed inside the female only dorm, which was fine, except right near to the public area and so could get noisy at night. In case you prefer somewhere quieter, pick one of the flats or the other dorms.
