I liked the employees -- really helpful. I enjoyed the quiet setting as properly as the location near a metro stop and walking distance to the Peter and Paul Fort, etc.

The guys at reception were so friendly, and really went out of their way to help me out, printing out maps for supermarkets, photocopying my registration and visa forms, doing my registration for 200R which is nicely worth it - takes ages to fill in all of the boxes online! Really welcoming, and they made me really feel right at home in St Petersburg, my first stop in Russia. They have filtered water, so you can drink from the tap, and a kitchen.

It's very near to metro Sportivnaya, which is only one or two stops from the city center. There were a couple of cafes and a small convenience store also really near. The staff I spoke with, Yana and Andrey, were both very helpful in looking up information for me, or printing out or drawing maps. I had my own cabinet to put my things in and lock up during the day, so I didn't have to worry about it while I was out. For the price, it's a good place to stay, especially for a couple of days if you're mainly just looking for a bed to sleep in and a hot shower.
