It is really clean, the web works, the shower is good, there are several toilets, the kitchen is nice and also the staff speak English. It is near to a minimarket where we can buy yogurts, bread and other breakfast stuff. Coffee and tea are no cost at the hostel.

The staff was helpful && the location is perfect! The cooking area is totally stocked (they even have the water filter). FREE tea, coffee, net, wi-fi, washing machine. We stayed in another hostel in St. Petersburg prior to we found this one and it just does not compare! Pilau Hostel is without a doubt the way to go!

It's very clean and new place. Very well located. I already send there 4 friends because i think it's a very good place to stay. I was in many backpackers and this is one of the cleaner Ii've been there.

The hostel is really excellent : clean and in the city center. The employees is enthusiastic and kind. And you have many no cost facilities like tea&&coffee internet, wifi, iron, television, DVD.

Lovely hostel! Excellent staff, greatest location and nice people. Extremely well situated for getting train to/from Moscow. Staff extremely friendly. Tea&coffee & web access are FREE ! Would recommend to anyone!

Best place to stay in that beautiful city. Extremely nice staff speaking fluently english. Great location, near center, near train station to Moscow, near Helsinki bus departure. No cost tea, coffee, wi-fi. Nicely equipped cooking area with clean drinking water! Possibility to watch dvd. Enjoy your stay!
