Truly magical, if you desire to get back to basics. Enjoyed 1 night. Would have been been improved if the light worked in the cocoon and also the shower was a bit more inviting! But for 10 pounds I thoroughly enjoyed it. Will be visiting again maybe with a couple of beers this time and a bag of wood.

I loved the location of the cabins, close to the mansion but far enough to still really feel like are camping. It was perfect for cycling and walking during the day as properly as the position of the cabins allowed you to talk with neighbours in case you wanted to. I would definitely suggest it to friends.

This site was appropriatly affordable and provided a warm dry shell to sleep in and a bathroom.

It definitely was an adventure, especially simply because we were like the only ones who did not have a car. The showers were great-like a hot waterfall. If you are going without a car make sure you bring a flashlight b. c otherwise you will be walking through the forest inside the dark to get there. It was warm inside the hut so even though we only brought pillows and a thin blanket we were warm enough sleeping inside the hut (in August).

It&'s one thing unusual. The environment is extremely beautiful. The cocoon is a bit small however its quite comfy inside. There&'s also jakuzzi facility to be used. Those who adore camping and outdoor activities would definitely adore this place!

It&'s a little different, you get to see some of the surrounding towns and natural areas around edinburgh
