There was no positive attribute, not even the location, that could overcome the smell. There are plenty of competing Hotels and Hostels inside the area, so it was easy to find another spot to stay.

I like the lomond hotel at very very good location, helpful staff, very reasonable cost with cooked breakfast, clean and comfy room, i had a very quite single room thats why i get very very good night sleep, on the whole i enjoyed my stay. everything so near to the lomond hotel, all the shops, restaurants, bars and gardens all in walking distance. kelvinbridge underground also only few minutes walk away and the bus stop just front of the hotel.

Nice room and ensuite, location was perfect due to the fact i wanted to be in the west end, but is nonetheless a 10 minute train journey from the centre of town.
