The building was absolutely gorgeous in a fabulous location, and the surrounding areas was breathtaking. You can get to it quite easily from the shores of Loch Lomond and there was several walks to take too around the outskirts of the building. Inside the property was just historic, the vast detail was exqusite, and the history of the building was obtainable for all to read, the small detail of the architecture was amazing, and it was a pleasure and absolute honour to be able to say there ahead of they close its doors as a youth hostel, I just wish I had visited the area and found Loch Lomond Youth Hostel a really long time ago but I had never been to Lomond so it was my first have a look at and will never forget it.

The building is spectacular! It takes your breath away! It is also in perfect surroundings to uncover Loch Lomond National park area, with fantastic road connections, its just off the main road but its very secluded and quiet. Lots of walking trails just off the hostel. Lovely gardens, lots of parking space, cooking area was fantastic and huge and very clean. Room was clean, showers were clean. Really nothing bad to say about the stay.
