Hostel Podbara consists essentially of numerous guest rooms in a household home. The house is stunning and my hosts there were very useful and accommodating. The hostel is located just a few minutes' walk from the main walking street in Novi Sad.

Hostel Podbara consists essentially of several guest rooms in a household home. The house is gorgeous and my hosts there were extremely helpful and accommodating. The hostel is situated only a few minutes&' walk from the principal walking street in Novi Sad.

The employees was wonderful. The breakfast wasn&'t included, but they made us pies and pancakes anyway. There was a large kitchen with all of the equipment you could need, plus a nice rooftop to relax at. In case you are worried about the location of the hostel, you shouldn&'t be. It&'s only a brief walk to the city center.

Overall one of the most effective hostels we have stayed at. Having 2 bath rooms was great, the cooking area was huge and nicely equipped and getting laundry washing done was reasonably priced. The bed was more cozy than average and it was not that far of a walk from the train and bus station. Ivana was super helpful with giving us info about the city, places to see, directions to restaurants, bus info and even called to book massage appointments for us!

Hostel owner was extremely friendly and helpful. It was also extremely cleand and very good value for money. If you want a hostel which is owned by a local and has a nice silent character to it then I would recommend this place. Also nice that it is in a neighborhood and not the centre.
