This is an excellent less costly option in Cape Town. The hotel is old but nonetheless reasonably liveable. The bar has an excellent setting and good low cost food options. Really good value for money.

It is an excellent old pub. The bar is an excellent spot to meet some of the local characters. We actually made some excellent friends there. The meals are tasty and really cheap. The beer is cold, plentiful and cost-effective too.
