Good location, extremely helpful staff, extremely clean and tidy

We were very impressed by Gibela Backpackers. It rates at least 10 out of 5 for cleanness and helpfulness. Elmar was a fount of knowledge on all points SA. We liked the whole ethos of the place, from the recycling bins to the shop stocked with stunning goods made made by local women. The shady gardens were great to relax in as were the comfy sitting areas. The whole place was immaculately kept. We would definitely suggest Gibela to anyone visiting Durban.
