The location is near various shorter trails. One member of the employees (NOT the manager) was really helpful with directions to the trail.

The cabin doubles are pretty but there is certainly no electricity in them. The camp cooking area is quite clean but don&'t leave any food into the refrigerator - hungry staff will eat it! There are only two showers/toilets for the whole hostel - in busy mornings you may need to queue. They have a nice camp fireplace within the garden.
