I can honestly say that this was the greatest hostel that I have ever stayed in! The environment was INCREDIBLE. It had a best balance of partying and sightseeing. I have been at hostels where it is ALL party and just loud drunk people but Albareda wasn&'t like that. It was like everyone there was sightseeing/going to the beach during the day and THEN went out to drink/clubbing late. It felt like a family there as nicely as the owners were SO nice. it was fantastic because if one of us wanted to check out a tapa bar (for example), they would go above and beyond to take us to an incredible one. They also did a lot of planning to get us onto club guest lists and had fantastic recommendations for points to do during the day. Not to mention the amazing sangria nights :) I met so several people here and I have never been at a hostel with such a warm and friendly ambience. The rooms were clean and I also felt really safe. I had an incredible time in Barcelona but I never would have done half the points I did without Albareda&'s help!

The group events organised were really fantastic - especially the no cost sangria and tapas nights, which meant there was a convivial environment in the hostel and the common rooms was full of people chatting, not just on facebook. Cooking area was good, and facilities were basic but all functional and all you need and want from a hostel!

Fantastic hostel! Really sociable and great for meeting people if travelling alone. The hostel is well looked following with a nice kitchen/lounge location and cool decoration. Great location, great staff, would definitely recommend!

All reception guys are really welcoming and friendly. common areas and also bed and rooms was really clean. The best thing was atmosphere, as it&'s youth hostel individuals are staying there for that reason. It definitely worths that money, , watch this! we went to VIP party at 5 stars hotel! Turkish: hostel sahibi Turkce yazmamida istedi, kesinlikle bu paraya deger, egerki ben 10&'da vurur kafayi yatarim diyorsaniz burasi size gore bir yer degil. Ama ben eglence ariyorum, Barcelona&'da vaktimi dolu dolu gecirmek istiyorum derseniz burasi aradiginiz. Dusunun herkes aksam 10-11 gibi asagida toplaniyor ve sabah 4-5-6&'ya kadar eglencenin dibine vuruyor! Calisanlar cok sicak kanli insanlar, odalar ve ortak alanlarda dahil olmak uzere her yer piril pirildi. Kesinlikle tavsiye ediyorum, bir dahaki gelisimde hic sasmadan burada kalacagim.

Great hostel, it is not located that close to the centre of the primary attractions. It has a nice atmosphere, the employees is really helpful. Beds are really comfortable and they have nice large lockers. Everything was relatively clean. Close to supermaket as well. Stay away from Ramblas for hostels. I will definitely come back to this one when I go to Barcelona.

The hostel has a great environment for meeting other people. There is a downstairs kitchen/lounge area where I was able to meet a lot of other people I ended up hanging out with the entire weekend. AMAZING. Superb staff.
