Apart from the fact that there are more inexpensive hostels and hotels, the praktik hotel is a very nice and warm and friendly location to stay - and really worth the money, especially when you have a room with a balcony to the backyard. really clean and light rooms.

We were fortunate to get a double bed room with a quiet large balcony facing a quiet court yard. Not all rooms are as large. It was also centrally located near all amenities, buses, walking distance off LaRamblas etc. , Walk to Gaudi Cathedral and 2other of his buildings. Clean and quiet hotel.

It's in a nice noiseless location exactly where locals live. Close to the metro to jump on and head down to the tourist spots for something to eat etc. The Employees were very friendly along with the rooms were a nice retreat soon after a long day out and about.

The room was clean, comfortable and modern, and silent too. Hotel was really comfortable generally along with the location was ok - though a few far more blocks away from Las Ramblas than I had thought when I set out to walk there with my pack!
