Hotel Carlos V was very centrally located. It was nice and clean and as a hotel, provided excellent customer service. It would have been nice to have the cost of the parking posted on the HostelBookers website. 15E is expensive and the website said 'parking was available', so weren't expecting that charge. It would have been nice to have more reading lights in the room and a kettle in the common area kitchen so we could make our own coffee/hot chocolate, etc. |

Very good location, good size room with very good showering; very poor TV in room, had to ask for soap! and breakfast facility is very poor in comparison with the two other hotels I stayed in on this trip; good value coffee machine; Reception staff have very variable fluency in English from very good to very little - had to go back to challenge final bill once I had realised that the morning receptionist at check out had not deducted deposit already paid from my bill; prior to departure in the afternoon, second receptionist more fluent in English sorted it out although could not re-credit on credit card and had to provide cash instead. |

Absolutely a stunning hotel. Very classy. You don't go the to meet people, but there are plenty of bars and hotels around to do that. Granada is absolutely beautiful. |

This photos of this property do not do it justice. The rooms are nicely decorated and kept very clean. The bathrooms are very modern and the hot water works all day. The hotel is 5-10mins walk to one of the main squares. There is a bus route that passes on the corner of the street and this goes to the Alhambra in approx 10 mins. The hotel is clearly signposted in the area making it easy to find. The staff were very friendly and helpful. This is the best hostel I have found on this site. |

This was a great place to stay as it is not actually a hostel but a really quite nice hotel that does cheap rooms in the low and mid season times of the year and they offer loads of services such as booking tickets to see the Alhambra for you. |
