Very clean, warm and friendly and comfortable. Our room was next to reception so a little bit noisy. No communal area or kitchen, just your room. The verification email we received on booking the Hostel stated that the cost would be taken as a pre-payment, however we had to pay totally on arrival and there was no breakfast as also stated on the email. Deposit only taken just before arrival. Would suggest for straightforward very good accommodation in a fantastic location.

Great location - easy to get to from Gran Via metro station and easy walking distance to the principal areas. Staff are really helpful - even when they don&'t speak English, they still assist as much as possible. Rooms were extremely comfortable and clean, although the bathroom could have been cleaned a bit better. Bed extremely comfortable and air conditioner a necessity in Madrid! I would recommend this property for a short stay in Madrid.

It was outstanding that the rooms were air-conditioned (Madrid was 39-40 degrees when we stayed)! The receptionist we dealt with was really warm and friendly and helpful. We had 3 keys to get into the room (hostel door, floor door, room door) so felt really sure our belongings were safe. Also, the room was really clean and beds were made each day. More like a hotel than a hostel!
