The location right at the Plaza Espana metro station is fantastic, the hostel is very clean and very quiet. There is a 20 euro deposit for keys, the kitchen (the only common area) is locked up (so it's essentially lights out) at midnight, and the hostel is closed (you have to leave) from 11am for cleaning, which is kind of annoying, but for me the cleanliness and quiet was a nice respite from normal hostel stays. Oh, and there is zero alcohol allowed on the premises. |

I enjoyed the location(close to all the sights and transportation) and the fact I felt secure and safe. It was clean and comfortable. Unfortaunately, the facility was not very spacious when it came to the kitchen or a general area to hang out other than the sleeping areas. The individuals there were unfriendly, unhelpful and were not there at times someone needed to be there. The breakfast they offer was gone in seconds, not enough for everyone. Is a pitty this place is in a great location and could be so much better if the atmosphere was welcoming. I do acknowledge that compared to another place I stayed I could put up with the friendlyness. The price was also a good factor why I decided to stay there a second time. I am not sure I would recommend this place to anyone. |

The location couldn't be more central and it's definutely worth a visit because the price is really cheap, the hostel's clean and the staff is very helpful. The fact that you can come and go as you please is also a plus, despite the fact that they close 2 hrs for cleaning but that is not a problem. The lockers are pretty small but it's secure to leave clothes and non-valuable personal objects in the room. The general atomosphere is very good and I personally would recommend this hostel. Let's face it: it can't get more central and cheaper! |

There are just 2 bathrooms for a lot people, the room was crowded. The breakfast was almost nothing. The location is really good. |

I had a great experience here! It was a bit of a problem that there were only two bathrooms for everyone there but aside from the morning/showering it wasn't an issue. The staff was so friendly and fun to talk with! At first I was intimidated by them but after getting to know them, it was great. The location was great but difficult to find since there is not much of a sign outside. I ended up staying here an extra night because I liked it so much! |

Staff is very friendly ( just dont arrive too early in the morining :) Location v good and if windows closed suprisingly quiet with all the traffic! Beds smelled clean and were very confortable, although 2 bathrooms can get quite busy in the morning, but then again you can cook your own food. Can recommend. |

It was central to many things in Madrid and the main square as well. I liked the staff, very helpful, but the place was small, only two restrooms. They had 24 hour staff service which opened the door for you when you get home late :) |

Free internet and large bath rooms and kitchen but they charge almost everything, ex. locker without giving back the money, laundry for 12. 5, luggage store for 2. |
