A very nice hostel for any backpackers passing-by, made out of a pretty nice (and clean) home and which has a warm and relax atmosphere. Really nice, welcoming and very helpful employees as well! It is really a hostel made for backpackers by backpackers!

Really friendly sociable chilled hostel where I made plenty of friends. The employees are friendly and helpful, and I felt secure and secure at all times. Everything is clean and comfortable, and they do a great no cost breakfast!

Really the very best hostel I&'ve stayed in. Warm and friendly enjoyable and welcoming to all types of travellers and all ages. The gorgeous communial outdoor space feels like your own luxurious holiday villa. We spent a few nights away from Los Amigos mid-holiday and so looked forward to getting back, felt like coming home.

Really friendly and inclusive- relaxed and fun atmosphere. Staff so helpful, genuine and warm which set the tone for visitors to be the same. A excellent mixture of ages and backgrounds in visitors which made it exciting and encouraged mixing if you wanted - i brought 3 books and didn&'t even finish the first one- fantastic holiday- really like you los amigos xxxx

Staff goes out of their way to make you really feel welcome. It feels like a family and there is nice friendly vibe. Each night visitors were gathering on the sofas at the terrace and employees would cook different meal every evening for very reasonable price. There wasdirty cheap bike rental too.

The environment at Los Amigos is truly wonderful. If you&'re looking for an island getaway, it is outstanding because there is certainly not much around, but the people are all terrific, the ocean is across the street, and there is certainly a pool and a great patio from which you can appreciate the Tenerife sun.

It compares nicely with some of the extremely best hostels within the globe like in South Africa, Australia etc. Breakfast inclusion is rare. I cannot recall a lot more than a couple doing this throughout the world. The principal bathroom is larger and also furnished as one in a high class hotel. It may be a little remote for those seeking Las Americas style nightlife, but for a place to chill and enjoy the vibe it icannot be faulted.

The friendliness and welcome I received at this hostel was superb! It is without doubt the most &"at home&" I have ever felt at the several hostels I have stayed at! The beds were very comfortable and with the recent addition of a third bathroom (March 2012), facilities are excellent. Although close to the airport, there is restricted noise as the hostel is not under the flightpath. I would extremely recommend this hostel, and will certainly be staying here again!
