Surrounded by the lake, close to great walking paths, yet not to far from the city

Very warm and friendly environment and bang for your buck. The room was extremely spacious and provided us with everything we needed (besides towels). The employees was helpful in giving advice and there was no cost food in the lobby!

It is a clean and safe hostel. Location is a bit faraway from the city center but the hostel offers a no cost travel card for metro and busses along your stay. And it is very straightforward to reach everywhere in Lausanne by public transport. There is certainly a hair dryer for common use (ask for it to the reception, you will first pay a deposit, then take it back when you give the dryer back).

The hostel was only a 2 minute walk from the lake and they also provide you with a no cost travel card as its not very close to the city.

The Staff was young helpful and able to serve all requests without delay and in french also as in english or german. Breakfast is was great and sufficient.
