Very friendly owner. Extremely clean rooms. Cleaned every day. The location just seemed really well cared for and therefore appeared like a much better hotel than you would expect for the price. I would definitely stay there again. The property owner even let us stay in our room until 2. 30 when checkout was 11 as our bus didn&'t leave until later within the day. On top of that they phoned the bus company for us when the pick up from the hostel was a bit late to see what was going on. Basically it felt like they would do all they could to help you without giving you the feeling it was a far more for them.

The employees were particularly friendly and extremely welcoming from the moment we arrived. The room was a bit small but very nice. You could tell a lot of effort had gone in to making the room as comfortable as possible.

Very clean, great rooms. Great breakfast, great staff. One of the top places iv stayed in 6 months travelling. Awesome value for money!

HIP Hotel is great! It is clean and the staff are welcoming and helpful. Terry suggested a restaurant across the way that had the really best Thai food I&'ve had my whole trip. And was helpful with ferryboat times and locations. Oh and the breakfast is a great deal. Lots of food!

Staff attention, discounts on tours, a extremely social place, they offer towels, a TV and even a fridge in dorms. It feels like a hotel as beds are made each day

Originally, I planned to stay in this hotel for 2 nights only, which I extended for 4 as I liked it very much. The couple who runs it are really kind and helpful. You really really feel at home. The hostel is about 15 mins walk to the beach, or you can catch a tuk-tuk for like 20 Baht, (GBP 0. 50) The place is very clean and tidy, must have been restored recently, and it&'s also very quite at night.

Very clean rooms, we had an ensuite bathroom, aircon, tv and fridge, with towels changed every single day.
