Stella and Nine were both extremely helpful, whenever we asked for one thing or for help booking tours they were brilliant. The double bed room we stayed in was really nice and comfortable with the bins being cleaned everyday. The showers and toilets were spotless too. The location is really very good aswell for the sunday night market place and also the post office with plenty of net cafes, small food marketplaces and atms dotted around. All in all it was a great stay and I would definitely stay here again if I ever come back to Chiang Mai.

The spot and rooms where clean but basic, the location is in the old town but not to far to walk to the centre. They where extremely helpfull and had a lot of knowledge on all trips and bus journeys to other ares.

Very clean and secure. Rooms are large with multiple fans for comfort. Location is inside old city walls.

I booked in for 2 nights, but ended up staying for 6. The hostel itself has a nice old-school feel to it with timber floors and open staircases. The rooms are nice and cool during the day (Dec) and I thought the beds were comfortable. Everything was kept extremely clean, which was a nice change. Plenty of tour and travel packages can be booked at reception with the help of the lovely Nine who looks after the day to day running of the place, she was fantastic the whole time I stayed there. She sorted all the bookings and answered any silly inquiries I had and cancelled bookings after I injured myself while mountain biking. All with a smile and fantastic sense of humour. Even after I&'d changed my mind on how I was going to travel into Laos for the 10th time. And during the evenings Stella would come out of the kitchen with a glass of wine a liven the spot up. Did I mention she&'s a fantastic cook I loved the place, and will definitely stay with them again the next time I travel to Thailand.

The Green Tulip has lovely spacious rooms and is extremely clean. The employees are warm and friendly and helpful, along with the food is tasty and reasonably priced. Has lots of tours accessible (but were not pushy). Would extremely recommend.

Nine and stella the owners were brilliant, very friendly, very good advice on trips and were not pushy to sell at all. room was nice and clean. very good showers. nice little region on rooftop to relax out as well. khao pat gai for breakfast aroi mak mak! will definitely stay here when i next come to CM.

The home is really nice and clean, the rooms were painted nice colors, the bed was comfortable. There is a rooftop that you can chill on and a large &"smokers terrace&", but there isn&'t any furniture on that one and neither is really welcoming for some reason. The employees is good, although not all are that friendly. They offer all kinds of tours and activities if that is what you are after.

The people who work here is so warm and helpful. They do just about anything to help you in whatever you need. Really amazing employees and safe place. Will be back soon and each and every time I get back to Chiang Mai.
