The employees working there were excellent! So nice and very helpful. It was a cute spot to stay. Some exceptional character, clean, safe and fun. We were a couple travelling, and it suited our needs. Brief walk to a few locals bars at night, and not too far to the principal areas

Everything! It&'s really quaint and I loved the fact that we had to cross a little pond to get to our room. The property owner and employees are totally wonderful, they let us have breakfast and relax out within the hammocks when we were too early for check-in; they also kept our backpacks in a secure room on the last day soon after check-out before our night bus. They&'re extremely helpful, the rooms are excellent value for money and we had a fantastic experience.

We can really much suggest this gorgeous and special Hostel. The Swiss owner is really warm and friendly and welcoming. He helped us in all inquiries about Chaing Mai, getting around, trips, cooking classes etc. (without being far more expensive than travel agencies). There are really outstanding breakfast options, also a Swiss Muesli, which we enjoyed a lot soon after months of travel. Snacks are available until afternoon which was quite practical. The place is not inside the centre of Chiang Mai, still, you can get easily and quickly into town. In the same street along the river, there are fantastic caf&es (Regina Caf&e is great, esp. in case you like cats), eating places and/or art stores so that we quite liked the location.

Parami thankfully was on the river road. Turn right out of the GH and turn left onto the bridge, this takes you to the chinese market. Also turn left out of GH for 1km and turn right over the bridge and follow signs for night market place location and remainder of the city. Only 20minute walk to the begin of the city gate. Wonderfully clean! Helpful warm and friendly owner and superb staff.

Of the three places we&'ve stayed at in Chiang Mai, this was by far our favourite. It had a really welcoming atmosphere and knowledgeable owner who was able to give us advice on whatever we wanted to do, which in our case ended up being really little, but there we are. There is certainly a tour agency on site but there is certainly no hard sell (or sell at all really! ) of services, which was nice. There is certainly a restaurant on site which made exceptional food. Slightly much more expensive than street food of course, but only by a few baht, absolutely nothing to write home about. Wi-fi was great and available everywhere within the hostel. Loved the hammock location within the back. Rooms (we had a twin with fan, ensuite) were comfortable. Not huge, but what do you need ;) The common areas were beautiful and it was a 15-20 minute walk to the night bazaar, or a 10-15 minute walk to the east gate of the old city. Extremely recommended, a beautiful comfy stay in a relatively silent spot. Safe and secure.
