The FX Resort is just a short 10 minute walk to the beach and just out of all noise of the principal drag. But Bars and eating places are only a short walk away.

The accommodation was amazing this was by no means a hostel but a really good hotel. I would have happily paid 4 times the price to stay here and I can't believe we were lucky enough to pay hostel prices! Rooms were beautiful and clean with a mini bar, balcony, sky TV, air con, room service etc etc. Their was a awesome pool on the roof top. a gym and it was within a 2 minute walk to the beach - couldn't have asked for more.

Really good hotel at good rates! Hostelbookers provided an outstanding rate as we also asked for a rate before checking in and it was extortionate. We had a leak in our air con so after they attempted to fix it for 2 days in a row they moved us into a superior room inside the &'new&' building which was AMAZING! This was at new year eves so we couldn&'t have had it any better!

We got a welcome drink on arrival, our room was the extremely best we have had in thailand and it is right on a busy street with bars and restaurants. It does have a extremely mature hotel feel tho so not party central but suited us. Staff were extremely helpful.
