The accomodation was excellent. beautiffully equipped large rooms with a high standard of decoration. the employees are extremely friendly and helpful and seem to understand the notion of the managementit is not a hotel or guesthouse - a lot more like a house share in environment but privacy is there for you in case you want it. great to eat breakfast on the terrace with other guests. pool is extremely clean and all attention is given to detail. the employees are only on site from 6-6. so you do really feel, this is your place to enjoy. unlike a hotel exactly where you feel you are governed a little. i extremely recommend this property.

This was a dream location to stay. We had a warm welcome and the roo, was much more like a 4 star hotel. Anyone thinking about staying here should ! I would like to thank all of the team at royal cottage for making are stay an memorable trip off a life time, Thank you.

Lovely furnishings, the pictures depict it well. Felt like we were in a posh hotel. Primary receptionist and owner were really friendly. Housekeeper a bit dour faced though. 5 Cockroaches in the bathroom freaked us out a bit upon arrival but we requested bug spray and got rid of them all. Ants around the toilet repeatedly returning was a bit annoying. This is prob standard though for Koh Samui. Pool area was enjoyable and clean. Oh we had one power cut during the night where we lost our air-con and light but it returned on soon after 20mins or so.

We'd definetely go to stay in this cottage again. It looks like a 4* accomodation with its really nice Thai-style furniture. The staff was also absolutely gorgeous and always friendly. It's a nice little and quiet place and you get to the beach within 3 minutes.
