Green House Taksim

Things I liked about this hostel: location and staff. I definitely suggest this hostel for first timers to Istanbul. The location is safe and noiseless from the traffic. You don&'t have to worry about people stealing your stuff as they supply large lockers with locks and keys to the room. Plus the people who stayed at the hostel weren&'t creepy but warm and friendly tourists from around the world. It&'s situated next to the top hotels inside the Taksim area so don&'t worry about getting robbed as it is a safe area. A short walk to the funicular/tram gets you to the well-known historical spots (Palace, Mosques, Museums) in 15 minutes. Employees was awesome. You hear about Turkish hospitality but they went above and beyond. They answered my million questions, gave me fantastic advice/directions, and pulled me out of a rut. I felt like I had my own concierge since the staff have lots of expertise inside the tourism industry. Also they were super kind and carried my bags to the airport shuttle bus. And they make your bed for you. And they kept asking me if I&'d like a beverage (alcoholic and non). What kind of hostel does that Green House does. :) Pros: Excellent wifi, computer to use, television and shower inside the room, air conditioning, privacy, warm and friendly travelers, great price

I appreciated the quietness, being away from the hustle and bustle of Istiklal Cd, it was good for chilling out. There is a lot of space, the beds are extremely comfy, a secure locker is provided and towels are available. Having been ahead of to Istanbul I prefer this kind of hostel and area, as it is easier to access the main street at night, compared to the old city which is further away.

The employees is really helpful and really friendly. They do everything to create you have a nice trip. Rooms are clean and nice. The breakfast is good too.

I were in others hostels before and honestly this one is the very best one. The staff s very nce and careful about you and your stay. In case you have some problems they wll help you, they helped me to fnd an accomodaton n Istanbul. The locaton s very very good simply because t s close to Taksm square and so to Istkal street. At Taksm square, there s the bggest bus staton of Istanbul so t s easer to reach every single places of Istanbul. For these reasons, I suggest you ths hostel. Auparavant, j&'ai ete dans d autres auberges de jeunesse et celui-c est le meilleur ou j a ete. Le personnel est aux petits soins, ls font tout afin que votre sejour soit le meilleur possible. S vous avez un souci ls vous aident ce qu a ete mon cas pour la recherche d un logement a stanbul. De surcrot, l hotel se trouve a cnq minutes a peds de Taksm square et donc de Istkal street. A Taksm square, l y a la staton de bus prncpale Istanbul avec des bus qu deservent tout Istanbul. Pour les les rasons ctees, je vous recommande fortement.

Location, location, location! Perfect spot for access to Taksims bars, restaurants, shopping and night life. Breakfast was often a pleasure and Talad and his wife Aiesha really care an awesome deal about their visitors and to create sure they have the most comfortable stay possible. Bonus is the common region is well away from the bedrooms so in case you desire to sleep you can.

The hostel owner was extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast is great. They also have a basement lounge exactly where you can bring your own drinks and also a satalite TV.

Staffs are extremely nice and helpful. They helped me to look up information that I needed by making several calls as I don&'t speak Turkish. Wonderful location from Taksim square.
