Good location, basic to get to all of the primary sites nearby. good value but overall a but crummy and depressing.

The location was great, everything (Hagia Sophia, Grand Bazar, etc) was within a few minutes of walking. The principal tramline was also really close. The surrounding region felt really safe, it was on a noiseless side street and had some good restaurants nearby. It also had some nice common areas to meet people.
