Paramount among my anticipations of accomodation is often cleanness and Maramara did not dissappoint. n addition the household is warm and friendly and helpful, the food is great (you, re saving at least 15 lira a day with this breakfast) and it is situated right inside the centre of old stanbul. We travelled with a 7 year old and this was an superb option for a family.

The location was fantastic within the old town along with the most well known buildings only a few mins away. The owners were very properly informed about all the possibilities in Istanbul and were very helpful to explain, arrange, order evrything you asked for

The large breakfasts: self service and come back for more, especially the yoghurt and homemade fruit compotes of quince, cherry and apricot. The breakfast rooftop overlooking the Bosphorus. The ability of the owners to pick up the phone and make arrangements like booking airport transfers.
