The owner was really friendly and helpful in both helping us with finding the landmarks and letting us use his cell phone when we needed to contact a friend in Istanbul. He let us borrow his umbrellas when it was raining and offered to keep our luggage after we left the room since our train back house was in the evening.

I would warmly recommend this guesthouse to anyone who values great old-fashioned hospitality over unnecessary luxuries. The warm and friendly manager cant do enough to help you and is often ready with suggestions of points to do. The breakfast is perfectly OK; the location is hard to beat. Great value for money, too.
