Really nice hostel! We were so glad when we arrived due to the fact we had stayed at another hostel in Sultanamet which wasn&'t great, and so the Globe House was such a stunning contrast. It has stunning friendly staff, very good breakfast, really clean and bright, and there&'s a nice little cafe attached at the front that closes at night so you can sit in there and hang out. It&'s really safe too, with codes on all of the doors. It&'s in an incredible location right beside the tower, and it&'s really close by to the area with all of the restaurants and pubs so it was ideal. And have a look at isn&'t until 10 which was a bonus :D

Helpful, warm and friendly staff. Great breakfast! And they made us breakfast even though we slept through the regular breakfast time. Fantastic location, in between Taksim and Sultanahmet, walkable to each areas easily.

Honestly, everything! The staff is extremely warm and friendly and helpful, rooms&&toilets are clean, breakfast is best :-). In addition, I think that it&'s placed in the greatest area of Istanbul: stunning streets, Galata tower just behind the corner, primary street going to Taksim is closeby and if you need any public transportation to get in other parts of Istanbul - it&'s just few minute away.

What can I say, Globe House is one of the best hostels I&'ve ever stepped foot in, and I&'ve probably been in close to a hundred. It&'s clean, the staff is incredibly friendly, and it&'s right inside the center of downtown, but NOT noisy or tacky. It feels like home. The breakfast inside the morning is decent, and also the lunch is excellent. Homemade turkish cuisine, for only 6 lira! If you&'re in Istanbul do yourself a favor and book a stay here.
