Urgh, what a dump - but for Colonia I'm not sure you can expect much more! This place is $12 - not exactly a bargain - but has decent showers and few people per dorm. On the other hand, the staff are about as unfriendly as you can imagine, heckling room numbers rather than names and throwing people out of hammocks in the early evening. Saftey is non existant since the dorm rooms barely close (let alone lock) and if you want to 'store' your luggage, it comes in the form of leaving it in the constantly unstaffed recepetion at the FRONT of the property. Avoid! |

Everything is old and broken, mattresses may as well be removed as you are lying on slats and the whole place could do with a good clean. Tablecloths had spills all over them, very noisy with people drinking until early hours outside all the rooms. Not a place for relaxing!! |

For me the perfect hostel! Warm fresh towels each morning and they even made my dorm bed while i was out! Great hostel with huge tv room and kitchen! Dont believe the negative reviews! |

Very very run down and basic. Hankerchief thin sheets and towels. Very noisy also. Staff tried to charge us more than the price we booked at because prices had increased since then. |

This Hostel is OK, but not really nice. Important was for me the price. All other Backpacker Hostel are more expensive. If you don't look in all corners, than is it OK. |
