This is a great spot to stay whilst in NY! Everyone was really warm and friendly when I was there as properly as the employees was helpful. The location is alright and it&'s easy to get around since it&'s really close to the tube station. I&'m a girl travelling alone so it&'s really critical for me to really feel secure when I go to and from the hostel nighttime, and I definitely did around this place. The hostel is clean and even though the cooking area is small it has all the facilities you need. I can really recommend this hostel/ guesthouse.

I stayed here over 1 year ago. (Sorry Hollie and Hannah it&'s taken me so long to write you girls a review, but you really rock the greatest hostel this side of the pond. ) Much more than a hostel, this comfortable little guesthouse just feels like, well, home - with household you really feel sad to leave at check-out time (which is flexible, by the way). Just a few details that make it really feel a lot more like a welcoming home than a regular hostel: flex check-out time, awesome bbq&'s in backyard, no cost breakfast whenever you really feel like. along with the true cherry-on-top: Lin and Alex, quite possibly, the most warm and friendly hostel owners I&'ve ever met (and Jasper &"Jaz-Jaz, &" their lazy cat). Cool livingroom, nice massive kitchen, impeccably clean (and sexy bathrooms) and cool Brooklyn vibe/neighborhood. Possibly the greatest little diamond within the rough in NYC.

Atmoshphere is great. But please do not expect a luxury hotel. It is an excellent cheapest place to stay.

I felt like I was at home. It is amazingly communal and everyone was amazingly friendly. There were individuals from all walks of life here when I stayed and I think that about sums up what you will uncover in New York. The hostel is kind of faraway from manhattan but it is so effortless to get to with the subway right down the street. It&'s a fantastic environment, in case you need a spot to stay in New York, stay here.

I liked that it looked modern and nice, the individuals are young, know what&'s up in town, i loved meeting all the international people, they have great stories to tell. there is a communal kitchen, very clean and everyone can use it. bath rooms were somewhat clean, bring your own towels, though.
