It was a very good location, great for students. The building itself had a somewhat strange surrealist tinge to it, but it made it rather interesting. Employees were helpful and available. Near to the Subway. Daily housekeeping. Comfortable, and felt safe with friendly room mates. Also kind of liked that I was one of the few Americans there.

The location. I walked to most places: Chelsea, Meatpacking district, Greenwich, East Village etc. The hotel is breathtaking lots of red velvet and black and white images and art on the walls. Outstanding value. Employees were great, really helpful and professional.

The outside of the building is bright red and there are white points that stick out which help you to spot it on the road. The foyer inside as properly as the hallways are nicely decorated.

It doesn&'t look like a typical hostel because it is a hotel as well. Pretty staff and very good coffee and teas inside the cafe. Plus, my dorm room was huge and clean and had a nice sized bathroom. I&'d definitely stay here again!

Location! Lobby is also cosy and nice. And it is not noisy at all considering it is a hostel and it&'s on a busy location.
