Close to subway, very good for a few nights in case you are going to do just about anything in Brooklyn. I suggest seeing parts of brooklyn one day, then the next day seeing downtown brooklyn, the promenade, the shipyards, then walking the bridge to lower manhattan and seeing the new globe trade buildings, wall street, the waterfront, and possibly the statue of liberty. The location is clean.

- Brett and Seth were incredibly welcoming and are really nice people. They understand exactly what travelling is all about and try to make you really feel right at home. It&'s not a hostel exactly where you just check in and then you&'re forgotten about, they are pleased to help out in whatever way you need. - It&'s a great hostel to meet people - there&'s a buzzy public atmosphere. I met some super cool people during my stay. - The hostel is only a 1 minute walk from the subway which is superb. It&'s really easy to get in Manhattan and also uncover the rest of Brooklyn. - For the price, you won&'t beat this hostel - The beds are all clean and comfortable - Small point, but the wireless web was superb compared to other hostels I&'ve stayed at and there are loads of power plugs

This hostel was much more warm and friendly than the other hostel I stayed at in N. Y. The individuals I met there were nice and we had a very good time and so much fun. I was just glad that there were actually beds obtainable here cause I didn&'t have a location to sleep.
