The character of the building! The elevator was hilarious, rooms were clean, wonderful sushi next door, subway on Park Avenue :)

Hotel 31 is a great option for individuals who want a nice, clean, cost-effective hotel with no frills. The rooms are extremely small, but extremely clean and laid out to include all the necessities-- closet space, small desk, sink, small flat screen TV. The front desk staff were always nice and the location is great. Extremely near to a subway stop and a lot of places are walkable. We had a room with a shared bathroom and I can&'t stress how CLEAN the bathrooms are there. They are honestly cleaned constantly throughout the day.

The rooms are really cosy and clean and it is so near to nearlky all attractions in NYC. The Subway is really close and you have a supermarket next door, one thing to have breakfast/lunch and dinner.
