Hostelling International San Diego, Point Loma

It was clean, warm and although all the planes approaching the San Diego airport have to fly over the property, it is nonetheless very quiet. Furthermore, the kitchen was totally equipped and also the offer you of no cost food was tremendous. Also, in case you do not wish to take a shower with others but in private, this is possible. The fact that towels are provided and also the way the rooms and also the common areas are kept very tidy and clean are very good, too. If it were not for the common showers and also the kitchen, one could easily get the impression that this is not a hostel but a ***-hotel. All in all, it is a spot you like to return to after an exhausting day in San Diego rather than a spot you just go to in order to get some sleep.

I enjoyed meeting the travellers from all around the world. The pancakes for breakfast are amazing. The employees is friendly and helpful. The ping pong table and hammock make this place near to perfect!

This hostel is really quite in comparism to the other hostels on the beach or in downtown. best spot to meet new friends. Staff is often friendly and willing to help you no matter what your problem is.

Roomy, clean, well equipped and quiet. fast internet though wifi reception in rooms is sketchy at best. huge TV in lounge if that's your thing plus expansive and very well equipped kitchen (even has a dishwasher for guests). rooms are comfortable and heated, there's plenty of hot water for showering 24-7. downsides: a long way from downtown, no bus connection on sundays, no drinking or smoking on site mean this is NOT a party hostel.

They are not 24 hours hostel! Be careful! I arrived at 1:00, hostel was closed, i had to slep on a street.

The price was great and it's only about a mile walk to the beach. Great hostel, very friendly atmosphere with a fun staff and lots of information available. A little informal which is how I like it.
