Its a fine hostel. There is other just as good alternatives in San Diego. But the location in the middle of the party district is fantastic. Not the easiest place to be if you want to relax. The lounge is party from 4pm until 3 in the morning.

Really fun party hostel, staff were all really helpful! location was good for us because we drove, and there is free street parking between 6pm and 6am. overall great experience if your looking to meet some people and not get a lot of sleep!

The location is fantastic, right in the centre of the Gaslamp quarter. That does mean it can get a little loud of a night but that's a small price to pay.

I loved the beds in this hostel-they were so strong and sturdy it made a nice change from rickety old beds that move a mile everytime you sneeze!

Location was fantastic, had a four dorm room was quite small and no air con but fan was provided, shared bathroom and toilets but were very accessible and clean so not a problem, breakfast provided altho often busy and a little wait to get to the stove to make the free pancakes on offer.
