Extremely warm and friendly and helpful staff! Especially Hoang and Lin. They try to accomodate every request and try to resolve any issue you might have. They answered all kinds of inquiries for us and booked us on some tours (our idea - they are not at all pushy with tours, unlike some places). Huge colonial French-style rooms. Located in Old Hanoi, 2min walk to Hoan Kiem lake. It&'s extremely effortless to get around the historic city, either walking or taking rickshaws (very cheap). This is the traveler centre, so there are travel agents, restaurants, laundry, souvenirs at every turn. Everything you might need is right there. Free net (2 computers). Breakfast included - vietnamese-style bread, eggs, coffee/tea, fruits. One minor &"concern&" - there is no sound insulation, so bicycles honking and radios from the street will wake you up at 7am at the latest. Bring ear plugs. Extremely recommended!

A nice hotel. Warm and friendly staffs. The long stair is a bit of challenge if you have too much luggage. anyway, it worths the money.
