Hanoi Old Center hotel has the very best staff. Nice, friendly but most importantly helpful. We had a double twin room. The room was huge, clean and nice and it is centrally located in the Old Quarter. There are two staff, having the same last name as Thuy, are the most fantastic employees I have ever met in a hotel. They know the location properly and helpful with tourism questions. I extremely suggest this hotel. I booked two tours through the companys site via email and they always give prompt reply. One of the tours that we booked was a 2D1N deluxe cruise on The Oriental Sails. We were very disappointed with this cruise and I would not suggest it to anyone. The boat is not in excellent shape, the bed linens were dirty, toilet seat fell off as properly as the employees on the boat were unfriendly. They were 15 tourists on the boat and none of us were happy. Three tourists made a complaint to the company and was later transferred to a bigger boat called Calypso. We were very upset and made a complaint to Hanoi Old Center hotel since we booked the tour through them. The ladies (Thuys) were very helpful in handling it. They arranged someone from the cruise company to gather with us soon after the trip and had part of the cost of the trip refunded.

We spent 2 nights here. This is typical attentive Hanoi hospitality. The hotel has everything that you need include elevator. The employees are warm and friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed complimentary breakfast, is plentiful and varied. The beds are amazingly comfortable. Fantastic en suite bathroom offers hot water, toothbrush, shower cream, shampoo, towels, toiletries, Its also a best location, in center of old quarter, make us really feel handy and safe.

All the staff were absolutely exceptional and went out of their way to help. Nice little touches like on the house snacks in the room, presents of tea every single time we returned to the hotel etc.

We chose this hotel from it's comments and never regretted. We stayed for 4 days and everything went perfect. Location is excellent, staff was very attentive to the customers needs. Our room was spacious and well furnished. It worth staying. 100%.
