Very few dorm rooms in Saigon, so it was great to meet other people as travelling alone. Not the cleanest place in the world (saw 2 rats in the 3 days i was there! ) and it could do with a bit of DIY here and there, but you don't come abroad to spend time in your room anyway!

Booked a private single ensuite, checked out some places 2 mins walk away && could get the exact same cost for some gorgeous rooms && outstanding service. Room had a fan (which broke down a lot), broken air-con (also following mentioning this to staff), bathroom was filthy (like to the extreme). I&'ve stayed at many dorms, hostels of varying cost / quality whilst travelling, but yellow house almost certainly takes the cake

As I wrote, it was too noisy, we can not sleep. Noise begin at 06. 00 and was still at 01. 00.

Free breakfast, no cost internet (but really bad signals! ), very good location. We were not too impressed by the employees - bad english and a bit grumpy attitude. they said no curfew, but when we got home at 4am they had closed, and wasn&'t really pleased to answer the door. luckily, they did. honestly, you can find much better and less expensive hostels/guesthouses right down the street! :-) but the rooms were okay and lots of backpackers stayed there.

We were not too impressed by the employees - bad english and a bit grumpy attitude. they said no curfew, but when we got house at 4am they had closed, and wasn&'t really happy to answer the door. luckily, they did. honestly, you can find far better and cheaper hostels/guesthouses right down the street! :-) but the rooms were okay and lots of backpackers stayed there.
